Abstract, contemporary expression of a vineyard in intense, deep and rich colors inspired by my travels in Italy. Very vibrant painting that does not represent a particular place, but rather an emotional impression and the memory of the vineyards in Toscany when the setting sun deepens the colors of the landscape.
It is a very striking painting/drawing. The ink line drawing is spontaneous and raw and very expressive. The acrylic paint is bright and vibrant and gives the painting texture. The heavy weight paper shows through in many places providing additional texture and interest. This painting is on paper so you will have to have it framed (it is sold without a frame). You can get quite a different 'look' with different frames - see some examples below.
