Dramatic, striking painting of northern Rocky Mountains and Pacific Ocean. It is based on my memories of a trip to the Knight Inlet in northern British Columbia - flying in a floater plane, I was overwhelmed by the omnious presence of those mountains and the ocean beneath. This painting is an abstraction of that "presence" I felt and the dramatic silence which surrounded me.
