README for LAMPWords Database Tools
===================================

This package provides you with some of the tools you need to generate
dictionary database files for LAMPWords, a word-finding/anagramming program for
Palm handhelds.

NOTE:  Generating dictionary databases for LAMPWords is currently NOT a task
       for the general public.  You don't need to know how to program, but you
       do need to know how to apply patch files, compile programs, and run
       scripts.  Hopefully I or somebody else will simplify this at some point.

You will also need the following (linked from the LAMPWords web site):

Graham Toal's dawg package for creating DAWG (Directed Acyclic Word Graph)
files, available from:  http://www.gtoal.com/wordgames/dawgutils/

Ka-Ping Yee's PRC/PDB file generation script (prc.pl), available from:
