A little bit about Alena:

Alena has dedicated her time and shared her passion for dogs for many years.  Her hobby grew from one dog to five with in a few years.   Alena created a web site and called it Labradoodle Passion.  Alena has always been proud of her dogs and their accomplishments. She has been able to share her knowledge and many pictures with people by this wonderful web site.

Alena has been described as an amazing women with a heart of gold. She has helped many people over the years find home for unwanted dogs or puppies. She has taught people how to groom, train their puppies basic manners and correct unwanted dog behavior.

She truly loves her dogs refers to them as her four legged children. Usually where you see Alena she has her dogs with her. Even camping, car rides and sleep over with the children.
Her dogs were from top hunting, show, therapy and guide dogs bloodlines bought from excellent breeders. They had wonderful calm temperaments and were well respected and loved family pets. They were fully health tested (not just vet checked) before breeding and were never bred more than once to max three times.

Alena Strelaeff is an amazing mother and caring lady with a heart of gold. She has gone out of her way more than once to help families and people with their pets.  Teaching grooming, dog manners and so much more. She has shared her therapy dogs with children to seniors and gone on many hospital visits, parades and therapy pet gathers. She has supported and taken part in several SPCA fund raising walks, and donated her help at shelters.  She truly believes in lending a helping hand around the dog community.

Many of Alenas dogs matured into wonderful well adjusted and loved K9 companions. Becoming guide and therapy dogs, family pets and top obedience winners.  Alena never bred dogs to make a living from them, but rather to share some of her dogs outstanding bloodlines with people.  Any adoption fees acquired from puppies always went back into her animals.

When an active breeder Alena was a recommended breeder by vets as well as an approved breeder by the Australian Labradoodle Association of America & Recommended breeders from Goldendoodles.com

Littles is doing very well. He is such a doll, just as you said. We love
him! Thanks again for all of your help and giving us such a great dog to add to
our lines. I am sure that we will keep in touch.
Amanda

We got Littles from Linda G. from Chemainus out of Bentley and Molly one of her first Mini Poodles.

Just wanted to share with you that Bandit is a pet therapy dog.  He impressed the vet and Sadie with how calm and well behaved he is for just 7 months old....we are so proud of him!
Cheryl

Thought I’d send you a few pics of Oscar (you know him as Blue). He is Fantastic!! We couldn’t have wished for a better dog! Thank you very much, we love him! He is funny, smart and very social. I recommend this breed to everyone I meet. I can’t say enough great things about him. We are looking forward in a year to adopting a brother or sister for him!

Thanks

Kerry

I thought I would send some of the pictures we took of Copper and his proud new home. He is Quite the smart puppy!!! His flight seemed to go just great. Copper is adjusting fine....a little tired, but getting his energy back now. The cat Tony just loves him.

As Copper grows we will send pictures your way. Thank you for everything!!!!

Daryl, Debbie, Amanda, Copper, and Tony

Just wanted to let you know that Little Abby (red collar) is lovely!!  She has just adapted so easily.  Her motto is 'No Fear' nothing seems to scare her.  I took her to the vets so they could meet and check her over. The vet said that you could tell that she had been well socialized and handled as she seemed very confident, calm and friendly.  We love her to bits.  She is already mostly house trained.  She is very responsive to food rewards so training is going well.  We are working on the kennel thing!  I will send you some pictures later. She is growing like a weed.  She loves the beach and is wading already.  Sincerely, Helen

Here are some current pictures of our dog Nitro. He has been a very good
puppy and we enjoy him very much.

Laurie

Here she is.
She's growing up and doing great! We adore her.
Hope all is well with you.  Any new puppies?

Roseann

Here is a pic at the beginning of July with his short haircut (to keep him cool).  We've since grown him out a bit and his hair is wavy/curly and fluffy on the top.  He is a dream.  Friendly, smart and adorable.

Thanx for your help.

Shauna

hi there, I just browsed onto your website and I just wanted to say it was very informative and straightforward and truthful. I like how you explained the different types of doodle breedings and it seems like you operate an excellent quality breeding program. I also appreciate that you made the point to say that a mixed breed is not necessarily healthier than a purebred (a common misconception) and explained the different types of coats and the fact that doodles do shed etc. I'm not interested in a puppy, just wanted to let you know you have a great site and if your breeding program is a reflection of it you're doing a great job. You're an excellent example that mixed breeds can be bred responsibly for a purpose. Thanks :)

Hello Alena

Any luck with the email addresses from Finnigan's Oct 10th litter? I so want
to see pics of the siblings. I recall they are across Canada.
Questions for you...
Finnigan is super smart and super popular (famous
almost) and very sweet, but VERY demanding at times. I am absolutely positive you've
been contacted by the many many people who want to know who bred him. What
are your thoughts about the neutering timing and how will those affect his
extremely friendly, outgoing behavior, his size or weight?

One day, we will make a trip to visit his 1st Mummy....

Carol

Hi there. I just wanted you to see how pretty Lady is. She is just such a sweet girl. Thanks for bringing her to me. The two pups that went to Saltspring this week are going to be spoiled rotten. You should see the place they are going to be living in. Excellent family. Thanks for putting the pups on your site. Thanks again Alena...Linda

Hello Alena!

My name is Tawnya and I am the very proud owner of a new goldendoodle pup named Tovi!

Joy (ShadyMaple doodles) recommended that I speak to you about any information you may have on certifying or training him to become a therapy dog!!! As many of your dogs have been and are certified  pet therapy dogs.
He has a wonderful temperament, and I really believe he could help anyone who is lonely or blue and needs a fluffy hug to bring joy into their lives...

Any information would be GREAT!!!
Thanks SO very much!

Alena
Who knew the love of my life would be one of your dogs? Finnigan is just
really really monkey-ish and silly and smart!
Finni scores and almost perfect score in Obed 2!!!!!!
 Owner looks like a 2/10.
Miraculously, pup passes despite owner.

Hi Alena

Just wanted to let you know that we finally got our Doodle. We are so happy with her. They are the greatest dogs. I want to thank you again for all of your help. I did run into the lady here who has one of your puppies and he is so beautiful. For us getting a dog this time of the year worked out great. We have had her two weeks and potty training is going well.
Kmear - my husband wanted but I wasn't going to go to agility and call Kmear all the time. Like 'Come Here'. No way

Well take care and all the best to you.
Sincerely, Kari-Lynn
(hope you enjoy the photos-my favorite is the first one of my daughter and our pup meeting for the first time :-)

Hi Alena,

Well our little man is just over 5 months now and he's getting big!  Thought I'd send you some recent photos - we love him so much - he is such an amazing addition to our family.  Can't imagine life without him now!!

Just thought I'd send a few pics of Lynden with our pumpkin.  Do you know if there are any other pups from the same litter as Lynden that live in the lower mainland - we would love to be able to get together with any of this bro's.  Would also love to see what all the rest of the puppies look like as we haven't seen many other Goldendoodles with similar features.  Oh I also forgot to mention we're taking puppy classes with a labradoodle from you - very cool.  With all this rainy weather our little guy seems to end up with lots of curls all the time despite the constant brushing, is that just a trait of the breed or is his coat just really curly and thick?

Have you ever considered putting together a webpage that shows what puppies from various parents look like - personally I would love to see what some of your crosses look like in terms of their puppies.  Just wondering?

As I mentioned before, we would love to hear about any other goldendoodle litters that you might have in the future as we love of our little guy and his temperment.

Thanks again, Erin

Hi Alena,

I just wanted to let you know how much we love Toby.  He is such a great puppy and we all love him.  It's hard to believe that he hasn't always been with us.
I've attached a couple of pics of him.
Thanks again, we'll talk to you soon.
Tammy Austin

Hello, I wanted to send a quick hello and let you know I plan on visiting in the near future. Queenee is doing fantastic- so smart! I think she will be training me and I will have a lifetime of slavery. Here are a few photos- I will bring some that are for you and your web- just a few I have in my computer right now. Thank you so much for this extremely smart loving little girl! I am having so much fun! I will give you a call soon.

Hi Alena, Thank you for the lesson in hair cutting. Let me  know if you get these pictures OK. Wendy

Hi Alena,

I thought I would share Maggie's (Parents Pluto and Misty)
graduation picture with you. She did very well in puppy classes and is now
moving up to obedience training. As you can see she is growing very quickly!
Once she is spayed (April 20th) we will begin our search for a companion for
her...we're looking for a black F1B (male or female) do you/will you have
any available?

Thanks

Jay

Hello, Alena
We thought you might like a recent picture of our
very, very naughty Mango. She has taken after him momma Misty and is to smart for her own good at times.  I know.... she looks like
such a little angel!!!    Yesterday she had her  first
haircut.   Manny and I have decided to relocate
permanently this spring to Mexico.  All the pets are
going with us.   I  promise you we will bring Mango to
visit you before our departure.    Take care, best
regards, Birgitte

Hello,

I am interested in the future litter of Brownie & Tobi.  I know it is a while away, but I wanted to let you know of my interest.

I live near Houston, Texas & I have just retired after teaching severely disabled junior high students for years, so I am hoping to add to my Labradoodle family because I will have lots of time to care for & love a new puppy.  At this time, I have a standard male & female. I am a relatively new breeder; I have had one wonderful litter of standards which were born in an extra bedroom in my home. My dogs are also my pets & are loved & spoiled.    I want to add smaller labradoodles & I have absolutely fallen in love with the brown & white partis.

We would love one of your future female parti,s from Brownier. Thanks so much for your time & I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Audrey

Hi Alena

Attached is receipt evidencing Rex being neutered. Also attached is a fairly recent photo. He is now 56 lbs. He is a wonderful dog, we love him very much.
Thank you and take care,

Nadine
P.S. People are always asking about Rex and where we got him from because they would love to get one so we have recommended you to may people.

Hi Alena, Aries weighed 16 pounds 8 oz. yesterday at your vet's office.

Here are a few recent photos of him. He really looks more like Heidi than the others do.

Everyone loves Aries. He is quiet, polite, fun, loving, and playful with all the neighbourhood kids and Robin's students who come to the house. He also sleeps well and knows where to do his 'business'.

Thanks so much for matching Heidi & Bandit so that Aries could come into our lives. And thanks again for your quick, sensible advice on any of our questions.

All the best, Diana (and Robin)

Hi Alena,

Here are some pictures of hermit. Misty and Pluto's pup from last October. I thought you might be interested in how he turned out. He is a wonderful pup, very loving disposition. I am interested in one of Keeva's pups once she actually gets bred. I'm thinking of breeding her with Hermit as long as their health checks out at two years. Is Keeva related to hermit in any way?
Hope to hear from you soon,
Shelley
HI Alena:  I have enjoyed reviewing your website and agree 100% with your philosophy.  I am very impressed.

My husband and I are considering adopting a labradoodle so am I in the process of educating myself more about the breed.

You mention that your female dogs are retired by the age of 2 to 3 years of age.  While we may be interested in a puppy, we would also be interested in an adult dog.  Do you have a female that will be retiring over the next half year or so?  If not, are you aware of anyone else who may be retiring a labradoodle over the next while?

thank you for all your help.

best wishes,

Shannon.

Hi Alena,

We hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a very happy new year.  We have named 'little girl' Sandy.  It seems to suit her.  She is doing very well here.  She is daddy's little girl that's for sure!  She is never alone.  When we go to work, Stacey's parents baby sit.  They love her too.  Sandy seems to like it here.  She is growing up so fast.  The vet said she is supposed to double her weight/growth since when we got her to now, and she is almost there!  I have attached a photo of her for you.

Lisa & Stacey

Our furry daughter Keeva has had her puppies!  They arrived at 0330
this morning, and all are doing well.  Grandma Lorri says, "Those
puppies are the cutest, most adorable, most cuddly things on Earth!'

Thank you Alena for our beautiful labradoodle.  We were so happy to see our girl and her puppies in the corner of your living room. They were so well cared for, happy warm and clean. This really gave us piece of mind knowing she was being spoiled and not locked outside in a kennel for her litter.
I would not hesitate to recommend you as a breeder or one of your dogs. Thank you for always being so up front caring and kind to our family.

 Laurie

Dear Alena

Hi Alena

Thank you for letting us meet your dogs and get to know you. We met Dusty while he lived with Alena a few summers ago. He was a beautiful white poodle that was happy healthy and outgoing.

I was shocked to pick him up for you and see him all matted smelly and stained. My girl friend and I could not believe this was the same dog we met before.

I'm sorry someone did this to your dog, it is a good thing that you won ownership of him in your law suit. I guess in the end you learned the truth the hard way about large breeding operations. What isn't shown on picture tours. I believe poodles and doodles with non shed coats should not be allowed to be in large breeding kennels like this unless they are groomed everyday.

I believe in what you are doing, and I'm very proud of you for making a stand against such a kennel for what happened here.  Wait ago Alena be the voice for dogs like this!!

Mill

Pictures of Dusty after he was returned from a large sunshine coast kennel. Matted and Very stinky!!

These are some photos of Gracie, the pup that needs a new home.  She's so cute and has such pretty eyes!  Poor girl, I hope you are able to help them find a good home for her. Carl apparently left a message on your machine today.  He is a very nice person.  I never met his wife.  They were the couple that looked at Linda's pups first. Again thank you for helping us place Gracie in a good home.

Hi Alena

Thank you for referring us to Holly for our beautiful Golden Doodle. I'm sorry to hear that his owners in which you helped pulled a fast one on you by reversing their payment. I believe the lady that bought him should of paid for him as you were given the puppy and didn't buy him.  His breeders actions to make you pay for him when you only had him for a day in a half is sad indeed. I can see this large kennel owner appears to have it out for you. It takes all kinds of people to make this world run and I'm sure glad that I didn't buy a dog from this guy. He really appears to have some anger issues and enjoys causing problems for others.
Alena, I mean it don't let this mass producing kennel steal your passion for helping dogs and people away from you. You can't please everyone and this mans pages of law suits against him, speaks for it's self.
I would recommend a puppy from you any day before poor kennel raised puppy. Your adult dogs are all trained, spoiled house pets, that have all been screened and tested for genetic health problems not like his dogs.  Our vet highly recommended you, and had nothing but positive remarks about you and your puppies.
Don't let this kennels owners lies or slander make your feel discouraged. I know you did the right thing by helping this puppy find a new home.

Best Wishes Your a kind hearted lady. Cheers

Kristin

Hi Alena,

I just wanted to write to send you some photos of Richard & a little update on how he's doing! He is growing like a weed & is a very social little boy. He sits & waits to meet people approaching him on walks & is very interested in other dogs. He started puppy school last week & so far is the class clown, I think b/c he's so excited to meet all the other dogs. We are loving having him & he's such a good boy!
I hope your surgery in January went well!  Thanks!

Kate

Hi Alena, I thought you would enjoy these pictures of Choka. She is absolutely adorable and smart. Mango loves her to bits. She is such a fabulous dog. Cheers, Birgitte

Hi, Alena. Here's the handsome boy, just before his first birthday party.  He's tired because he spent all day at the beach! Phoenix is such a great dog.  I want you to know how much I love having him in my life....Hope all is well with you.Lyn.

Hello Alena.  You likely won't remember me but you probably remember one of your pups!  Last May our family adopted Conky, called Uno in your care, and brought home the most fabulous dog we could have hoped for.  He is gorgeous, sweet, gentle and playful.  Smart, well-behaved and calm.  Perfect!  He was a star in his training classes and has only gotten better with time.  We absolutely love this guy and I simply can't imagine our family without him.  He still wishes the cats would play with him and they are really not interested in that in the least but otherwise I think he's happy with us.  He will turn 1 on Monday and I thought it was high time I finally sent a picture, update and thank you.

So thank you again and Happy Easter,
Ruth

hello Alena,
Riley(red labradoodle stocky boy) is doing fantastic. he is such a quick learner, by 3 months old he knew sit, come, stay, lie down, shake a paw and your other paw, and turn around. treat training works so well with him. he is growing like a weed. he loves to meet people and dogs and wants to meet every person he sees. He is the funniest puppy i have ever seen. he is such a goof with the things he does. I have had many people say that they would take him from me in a split second because he is so adorable, and such a quick learner. if something strange happens or something new he always turns his head to one side, wondering whats just happened (so cute). we have enrolled him in obedience classes, my first class with him is this Saturday, i am so excited to see how he does. i have attached some pictures of my handsome boy. i will send more pictures as he grows bigger and bigger.
thanks so much for him.
Brianna

Hi Alena,

Hope you are doing well.  I just wanted to send you a pic of Harley and let you know that we are VERY happy with him.  He has been neutered and training classes are going well.  I can't wait to take him to thetis to go swimming.  Dan had a question regarding Harley...was his "dad" a labradoodle or a lab?

Thanks
Jessica & Dan

Hello Alena,

My parents and I both purchased Doodles off you a few years ago. Dudley and Sassy.  Sassy is currently expecting a litter that will be due in Early May. Sassy has been checked and health tested and looks like a healthy litter is on the way.  I have attached a picture of the two dogs, they are fantastic animals. Thank you again for them.  As you no longer breed Golden's I though that maybe you direct any inquiries towards me. I hope to keep one or two but want only good homes for the rest of the puppies.

Thanks
Tim

Hi there - just wanted to share some up-dated pictures of our beautiful boy!

Hope things are going well for you.
Tammy, Odie & family

Hi Alena,

Here is a photo from today, of Aries, Heidi's pup, with his dad, Bandit and his 1/2 brother, Hudson, born a month later. They had such a great time together. Diana and Robin

Hi Alena,
I wanted to let you know I mailed the kennel back to you. Sorry for the
delay...the endless to do list.
We are so happy with Abbott .He is fitting into the family so well and
adored by all. My hubby is pretty strict with him and it is paying off. I
myself am too much of a softy. He gets walked daily and is an indoor dog...
He knows a lot. He will sit, come, stay, kennel, lie down, etc. Knows
commands to go the the bathroom on demand. Walk, retrieve and much more.
He will lie were we tell him and stay for as long as we want. He doesn't
chase the cats....he is just perfect. He loves bully sticks and squeaky
toys.
The measurements are rough as he won't sit still, but he is 24" at the back. About 45 lbs. I switched him to adult
food when you recommended.
I will send you better picks in the new year.
Merry Christmas to you and your family,

Sharon

Hi Alena,

Not sure if you remember us…we adopted our 'Maggie' from you in Dec. 2006 - she was born on Oct. 29, 2006 from Pluto and Misty. Maggie is doing very well - she's about 55lbs now and is the sweetest girl. Our vet (sunshine hills, Delta, BC) suggested I email you to let you know that he thought Maggie was one of the calmest, best behaved labradoodles he's ever come across. Everyone loves our Maggie….in fact we've recommended you several times to people inquiring about getting a dog like 'Maggie'.

I thought I'd send along a recent picture of her. Take care and all the best!

Jay, Castel and Maggie Tuason

Hi Alena,
Here's a picture of Jasper (burgandy collar) from Ellie and Phoenix's litter.  He is a sweetheart and loves people so much!  I was wondering whether any of his brothers lived in town and if their owner's would mind me contacting them for a puppy playdate?  I hope all is well with you and your family.

thanks, Mila

Hi Alena,

We just wanted to send you a quick note to update you on “Bozley”; (you know him as “red collar” from Ellie’s litter). He is growing quickly, has quite the little personality, and learns very quickly! He is definitely one of the family and we love him a lot!

Regards,

Marc, Krista, and family

Hi Alena

BELLE AT 12 WKS. SHE IS A SUCH A GOOD PUPPY! SO SMART AND LOTS OF FUN!! I JUST LOVE HER. THANK YOU. C

Dear Alena

I read the horrible false write ups about you and labradoodle passion by that guy. I couldn't believe its not against the law to harass someone like this. I would sue him for what he is doing and writing such lies.  I know his false accusations are ridiculous and completely mend to cause harm to you and your families hobby.
I would not hesitate to buy one of your puppies or recommend you as a honest caring breeder that you are.
Shame on him for mocking you like this. It shows what kind of breeder he is.
I would never recommend buying a puppy from such a breeder that takes pride in mocking others like this. A breeder that has up to 10 litters at a time, and does not post any health test his dogs as he claims.  I have met several people now that have had bad dealings with this man it's not just you.

Sorry you have had to deal with this person. It appears many people are after him, but he wants to blame it all one you.  Hopefully once your lawyer gets all the documents together you can put an end to this harassment and slander he is doing.  I recommend getting a restraining order against him to put an end to this childish behavior against you. I know several really good Lawyers and police friends if you need any help.

Sincerely Diane

Dear Alena

Thank you for all your help and information about labradoodles, we look forward to meeting you and your puppies. I have heard wonderful things about your dogs and you. You have come highly recommended by many other breeders, and people we have met.  Even our own vet recommended you as a breeder. They all said your a very sweet lady with a big heart. A breeder with a deep passion for animals and doing what is right. Your web site clearly shows your deep love for dogs.

Again thank you for being such a  wonderful true and honest person. I have spoken to other BC breeders to have only found them to be very pushy. Offering discounts or puppies for reduced sale rates, with free flights and more trying to get us to buy.
I really enjoyed our talk and found you to be a very knowledgeable and well educated breeder. A breeder that really cares about your dogs and their puppies.  I valued your patience and help you have provided our family about labradoodles.  We are very excited to meet your new litter of labradoodles and you.

Pam

Hi Alena,

We bought Richard from you in December 2007 & thought we would share more recent photos of him with you. We have recently moved to Toronto where he is enjoying playing in the snow. The pictures are from the summer when we rented a cottage in the Cariboo of BC. He has been a wonderful addition to our family, and we can't imagine life without him! We are so thankful to have found a puppy that had such a wonderful start in life. Thank you for doing such a wonderful job.

Kate & Jay

Alena, that was so kind of you today, I didn't realize it would use up two
hours of your day - I really do appreciate it. You are amazing how you
manage to do all the things you do and still have time to give us new puppy
owners hints and lessons in how to look after our dogs. I have already had
compliments on Gemma's new look - we stopped at the park this afternoon and
some of the dog walkers I know were amazed! Thanks again.
Talk to you soon.
Ruth

Our family got our Labradodle, 'Riley' from Alena's Labradoodle Passion kennel.

Right from the beginning the attention to where the dog would live and the facilities of our home to house a, big, active, dog were under scrutiny. Alena was wonderful to our son Michael (whose dog it was to be) but she wanted to be very sure that this was a good place for 'her' dog to be. We passed!

And then the unbelievable began. Alena was there for us with all of our questions and advice when we needed it and when we wanted some hands on time to teach us about grooming and hygiene long after the sale was over and Riley had moved in with us.  We maintain our contact with Alena and on occasion we have gotten together and walked our dogs. This actually continues through today, three years later.

We walk our dog at a popular 'off leash' area near our home in Victoria. I have met many Labradoodles there and a surprising number have come from Alena's kennel. Every one of the dogs that I have met have this same wonderful disposition as does our Riley.

Riley is the best dog we have ever owned because he has the wonderful personality of the loyal labrador and the brains of the Poodle. VERY good genes. When Michael took Riley through obedience training there were 3 contests with prizes on the last night. Riley and Michael won all three!

It is probably pretty obvious that we are big fans of this fine kennel and it's hands on owner, Alena and Riley of course! Peter

I highly recommend Alena's doodles to anyone who is thinking of adopting any one of her beautiful puppies.
Our relationship with Alena has been both rewarding and most
professional in every way. We are adopting our third doodle  from Alena this
coming July... If you have any further questions
please feel free to e-mail me any time. yours truly, Birgitte

I have a lovely 10 month old labradoodle named Gemma that I got from Alena
last September. I started visiting the litter when the pups were only a few
weeks old and I usually dropped in once a week or so until I got my puppy.
Alena was always helpful and willing to spend time answering my questions.
Her dogs were obviously well cared for, their pens were always clean and
well attended to, it was easy to see she spent lots of time with the pups.
Alena's children often played with the pups, cuddling them and treating them
like part of the family.
Since I got Gemma I have taken her to visit Alena from time to time, emailed
or phoned with questions when necessary, and have always been pleased with
the help I have received from her. Last week she spent 2 hours giving me a
detailed lesson in clipping and grooming Gemma and showing me what I would
need in the way of equipment to do the job myself. She has had good advice
about diet and training as well. If I do decide to clip Gemma myself, Alena
assured me I could drop by and she would fix my mistakes until I got more
proficient at it!
People are constantly stopping me on walks and asking where I got such a
beautiful dog and I am always pleased to recommend Alena. I know she is very
passionate about the well being of her dogs and all animals in general. She
is generous with her time and really has the dogs' best interests at heart.
I have met other owners of Alena's pups and they also are very happy with
their dogs.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Ruth

I highly recommend Alena as a breeder of Labradoodles, she has a love and a compassion for dogs. Not only for her own dogs but those she has rescued, her goal, to find good loving forever homes. I met Alena about 3 years ago when I went to her home just to 'see' what a Labradoodle was like, I came home with Lacey. Alena had seen right away that Lacey was bonding to me and I will be always be grateful to her for " You can take her home with you  " That was the start of my association with Alena and her family. I became a "foster mom " in her breeding program. During the first 2 years was a great learning experience, Alena was always available by either e-mail or phone for reassurance and answers to my many questions. To our dismay Lacey did not conceive. I do not consider Alena as just an acquaintance and breeder but a friend that gave me the most wonderful gift Lacey.

                                                                         Yours Truly,
