Potential new owners must  provide a loving house environment and not a kennel atmosphere. We also encourage our new puppy owners to become active with your new dog, whether it be conformation, obedience, agility or some kind of activity. German Shepherd Dogs are a highly intelligent breed and love to work, there is nothing more rewarding then the accomplishments you can achieve together!

First of all we are one of the very few kennels that offers life long support which is backed up by our list of references that are available upon request. We have been the leading breeder on Vancouver Island for over 15 years with 29 Canadian Champions ...always in the ribbons.

With careful research we breed our dogs with the sole intention of getting a puppy that we feel will help us to carry on our goal of ever improving the breed. The physical attributes and the in depth study of the genetic pool of both sire and dam are our foremost consideration. Excellent temperament, health and beautiful breed type, typical of Kohlein German Shepherds, is our ultimate goal-- as always the "Tradition at Kohlein."

Our puppies are all raised in a family environment to provide them with the security and socialization to help them adjust nicely to their new homes. We feel that each pup is unique and must be suited specifically to each families needs.
We want the relationship to be good for all of you.

Limited amounts of breeding is very important to us, but check in with us frequently. Please provide information about yourselves along with your wish list, we just may have your new addition to the family that will just turn heads every where you go!!!
