General meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month after the 7:00 PM Mass at the Holy Cross Church. Executive meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM.
The following is some of the Council activities:
- serving as ushers, readers and as Eucharistic Ministers
- providing volunteers to the bi-monthly community Blood Donor Clinics
- selling Charity Appeal Tickets
- distributing moneys raised to local charities, hospitals and churches
- taking the altar servers on an annual trip
- annual retreat to Westminster Abbey in Mission
- serving on the Columbus Towers board (organization which provides low cost seniors housing)
- serving on the St. Vincent De Paul board
- bowling nights, gym nights and other social activates
- taking part in the Remembrance Day march, ceremony and wreath laying
- assisting with Alpha dinners
- assisting with the Columbus Tower Christmas party
- involvement in the Keep Christ in Christmas program
- memorial masses
- annual convention
- parish dinners
- Mother’s Day carnations
- Marian Hour of Prayer
- Family-of-the-Month and Year presentation
- assisting with the annual Parish salmon barbeque
