GeeBee's Canopies located in Seattle Washington has the mold for the canopies and has made a couple for Starlet builders.
Team-38 is making cowlings for the Starlet.
The Corby Starlet cowl made by TEAM-38 is a 4 piece set
consisting of
the top, bottom and two aft cheek fairings. The white gelcoat finish is
ready for final sanding and paint after installing the fasteners. This
cowl is the long nose version, measuring 24.25” from the rear edge to
the spinner face. The lay-up consists of a thin mat layer under the
gelcoat, followed by 3 layers of S glass cloth and epoxy resin. The
stiffness to weight ratio is excellent and we appreciate the complements
we’ve gotten from our customers. The cost is $300.00 + S&H ($35.00).

Materials
The Starlet is built from Sitka Spruce, and aircraft grade plywood. The fittings are steel and the hardware is aircraft grade. There are examples of the Starlet being built all over the world and some people have been using local approved substitues for these materials. For example Douglas Fir is approved in Canada to replace Sitka, while in Australia they can use Hoop Pine. Due to all the possable substitues you have to check locally to see if your local governing agency will allow you to use other materials than the plans call for. If you know of other sources of materials please forward them so I can add them to this list.
