Can Ch. Sunstone's Kekuli Kawakami

"Kuki" at 8 1/2 weeks old. A beautiful puppy and adult.
She was born October 14th 1995.

Kekuli won Best of Breed on her debut weekend at Tyee Kennel Club.  She was just 6 months old and a very flashy girl.

This picture shows off Kuki's winning ability - even as a puppy. On her way to her title she accumulated two "Best Puppy in Group" wins and multiple "Best in Breed" wins. Her strengths are a nicely line bred pedigree of champions, a great head,  and sound movement.

Unfortunately Kekuli is no longer with us. We lost Kuki in the summer of 2006 at 10 years old. Kuki never had puppies, although she would have made a great mom. She was the matriarch of  the kennel, usually vocalizing her opinion whenever something went on. Unlike most Akitas, she was noisy. We'll miss this lovely girl who we co-owned with Bev Wilkerson of Kawakami Akitas.
