Akitas are the cutest things as puppies, but quickly grow up to be formitable dogs. They cannot be allowed to roam at large as they are a dominant breed, and sometimes go looking for a challenge. Their personality is somewhat catlike, and they are very loyal. Most often you will find an Akita positioned strategically between its owner and any perceived threat. All in all, we feel they are the best breed in the world, and will always have at least on by our sides.
