On behalf of myself Daniel (guitar), my daughter Ali who is 10(vocals and I'm trying to get her to learn fiddle, much like many of our distant relatives back in Inverness N.S.) and my son Matt who is 13 (drums) we have our own little Rankin family band, or at least emerging. We are very inspired by the music of the Rankins. We love the quality of the vocals, the tunes, the words ...its just great music! I hope to some day get the opportunity have Ali and Matt see the Rankins perform live and maybe even meet some of them. I'd like to get some of the sheet music for my guitar; esp Jimmy's Forty Days and Forty Nights (I can relate to that song). Please extend our appreciation of their music to them and to please keep working together if possible despite the recent loss. Love from us all.
