While  we look back on our accomplishments, we look  forward to what the future will bring.

LookBack started with Frost in 2002. While he was not my first dog, he was my first Border Collie and I have not looked back since.

My dogs are my companions first and foremost, they live in the house and they sleep in the bed.

I work my dogs on stock,  as Border collies  where meant too,  to see that they have retained not just the “instinct” but have “ability” It is their  heritage,  it is important to me because it is where all Border Collies have come from.  This is their history and  to me, the strength behind their future.  I also train & trial in Obedience, Rally & Agility and we would like to try our hand at Tracking.  Border Collies CAN do it all.   I also show my Border Collies in AKC/CKC Conformation to demonstrate their correct structure to the written standards.

So began my addiction to Border Collies, which lead to my addiction to herding and to getting sheep.

Litters are long term planed and few and far between as I breed for myself, when I require  another dog, and only when I can’t find what I want elsewhere.  I have been “in” dogs most of my life starting when I was 9 and went to shows with my mother who had Shelties. I got out of dogs for a while and into horses now I am back into dogs and horses : )  I have only bred 1 litter and retained 2 puppies for myself.  I love Dogs and talking to people about them, training and all things dog! lol

I live just outside of Winnipeg on a small acreage with my husband and dogs.

I enjoy my dogs immensely, they are my pride and joy. To be without them I would be so much less then I am.

I am a member of the Manitoba Stock Dog Association and The Canadian Kennel Club (CKC)
