Throttle assembly:I use PVC pipe because it is easy to work with but any kind of pipe can be used
The grip is 1" PVc ,the lever is 3/4",and the inner shaft is 3/8" or 1/4" faucet tubing.
A hole is drilled in the faucet tube just under the collar, also a hole for the screw drilled in the grip. The lever has a tab cut out, not quite half way around the tube.
You can go farther around or less, depending on how much throttle throw you want.

The inner shaft is slid into the lever tube until the drilled hole lines up in the tab
NOTE: The collar around the inner shaft may have to be sanded down a bit, depending on how much throttle friction you want.Without sanding ,it fits kind of snug.

The grip is then slid over the lever. Carefully line up the screw in the grip with the pre drilled hole in the inner shaft collar and tighten the screw down, so it is set into the inner shaft collar.
Now, when you rotate the grip, the tube sticking out of the bottom of the lever will turn as well.

I set the pot a little forward of the end of the lever and cut a piece of the lever out for the pot to sit. The end of the inner shaft had to be stretched a small amount to allow the pot shaft to fit in. Note ,the bundle of wires going through the lever tube. These are the extended wires for the Logitech joystick, hatswitch etc. They are all working and are used at the top of the collective.

The grip is wrapped in that automotive steering wheel cover you can get just about anywhere.
