Compiled by Kent Brothers -- Revised May 13, 2004
The
incidence of the organisms at Yellow Point is indicated, according to my own
observations at the times I've visited (mostly in May & October), by the
letter between the scientific and common name:
A =
abundant - hard not to see it
C = common - can usually find it any day if you look for it (but some only at
low tides)
I = infrequent - in few locations, seasonal, hidden, or mainly subtidal, but
likely to be found if you know when/where to look
R = rare - seen once, or in a place difficult to access, ...
If you know of a marine animal at Yellow Point that is not listed here, please contact me at Kent@Brothers.ca
