Software Productivity Center Web Site

Software Productivity Center Web Site I preformed several upgrades, changes and improvements to the SPC corporate web site. The site uses Dreamweaver templates and PERL functionality. My first action was to review and document the entire process and web site. I created a full understanding of the web site and how it worked for me and the rest of the company. From here I improved databases, simplified and modulized code, and added GUI improvements. Once the improvements of the web site were complete, at various stages of my employment I was resposible for management and development of the web site. I created several diagnostic tools online for out clients to use. Along with theses tools we built tracking mechanisms within the site to track client movement to better access their needs and wants. We were able to use this information to increase traffic, improve our corporate newsletter and client offerings.

Software Productivity Center Web Site

Along with development I took over several management duties. I was able to simplified the procedure and process of the SPC web site. Used software engineering principles to control manage, plan, define and develop the web site. This turned a full time senior position to a part time jr. position with minimal (1 day a week) supervision. Saving approximately $1700 a month in salary. I mentored the junoir developers, giving them stronger software engineering skills to understand and work with our process. While as a supervisor of the web site, I worked with Marketing on weekly control managemnet meetings. From these meetings we decided on the next stages of the web site. I specified function documentation for the changes while updated web site documentation and managing the development.
