Col. PHIPPS:

I'm sure that as a Fellow Officer you'll permit me to be blunt, especially after your intemperate diatribe, above….

But first, a few questions/comments by way of introduction, if you don't mind…. Proper military protocol must be observed—after all, we're supposedly Officers and Gentlemen….

I/we don't know much about you…. Actually, I have my real doubts even as to your very existence…. [Aside] Are you per chance related to a certain Lieutenant-General very recently mentioned ‘for effect' in passing by Brian CROW or to that British patriot, Benedict Arnold?

I am an Honours graduate of Canada's equivalent of your West Point, Annapolis and USAFA—combined. I am also a Gentleman—twice over, actually. Once in fact: my first woman [who was much older—God Bless her] taught me that ‘a Gentleman keeps his weight on his elbows', for example [I try to practice that whenever opportunity knocks]…. And, once by Act of Parliament…. But because of your likely alternate ‘pre-disposition', the "don't ask/don't tell" policy and otherwise, you probably don't know much about either. But, I ‘doo digress'….

Returning to the issue at hand, what manner of Colonel are you, PHIPPS?

Your school-girl histrionics suggest that you are "light", as in light-weight.…

Your ‘put on airs' imply that you may be from "Kentucky"….

Your reasoning per force makes me think of "bird"—as in bird-brain!

But, this admittedly is unfair to birds. As a sometime pilot and otherwise, I like and very much appreciate the abilities of most birds—with the exception of the sub-genus Corvus brachyrhynchos a.k.a. as the Common American CROW—which is nothing but a pest….

Come to think of it, PHIPPS, some of your shrill diction/formulary appears to be imitative [sic] of that routinely used by crows in general and Brian CROW herein [below] in particular. Or, is that a distinction without a difference?
