Birds

The purpose of this guide is to cut through all the science and just focus on what birds are easiest to find and which ones make good subjects for photographs.

For those looking for more depth there are many great online resources for birding information What Bird is a good one for identifying particular species, the USGS website is really good too and if that isn't enough you can post your photo on Birdforum where a massive community of avian experts are able to ID anything.  Locally in Vancouver both Birding in BC and Fraser Valley Birding offer active communities and a wealth of good information.
