>> Shawn Marsolais, << 29, brought her upbeat attitude to Kappa Cycling in 2003 after she retired from competitive swimming. Born with a degenerative eye condition, she rides stoker on a tandem bicycle piloted by Lisa Sweeney. Shawn is on track to compete in tandem cycling at the 2004 Paralympics in Greece.
>> Sue Reid, << 40, races in the Masters Expert Women's category. She's one of the fastest moms on a mountain bike in Canada. Sue hopes to bring home a medal from this year's UCI World Masters MTB Championships.
>> Emily Sandwith, << 19, will face her first year in the Senior Women's category. She placed third in the Junior Women's category at the Road Racing National Championships last year and represented Canada at the World Championships. Emily is ready to test her legs against the big girls in 2004!
>> Lisa Sweeney, << 23, has an impressive résumé. She was a National Champion in 1999, placed first in the road race at the Western Canada Summer Games that same year, won two medals at the 2001 Canada Summer Games and is the 2003 BC Cup Series Champion.
