The Kappa Women's CyclingTeam, based in Victoria, BC, was developed in 2001 by a group of young women cyclists and former Canadian National Team coach, Steve Lund, who recognized the need for community support in order for them to be their best. They had dreams of becoming the best in the world, but needed stepping stones to get there.
Kappa Cycling is one of those stepping stones.
Now into its fourth year, Kappa Cycling is still helping developing women cyclists reach their goals. Sponsors and supporters, such as Kappa Canada, International Cycling Coaches, Schwalbe Tires and RBC are working together to make the team's vision possible.
