HOW ARE THESE IMAGES CREATED?
The
print images in this collecton are all either created digitally on a computer
screen or are converted to digital form from original hand drawings or
paintings. Some images are photo enhancements. Each print
has a short description which includes an explanation of the process involved.
HOW
ARE THESE IMAGES PRINTED?
Unlike
mass-market prints that are produced on automated offset printing presses,
the majority of these Doukhobor prints are produced individually by the artist
in his home-based studio. Only
high quality fade-resistant pigmented inks and archival papers are used
to ensure longevity.

The 1995 17 inch circular 'Doukhoborets Tot' print was produced by traditional lithographic press. Although initially released in black and white, a limited number of prints from this set were hand-tinted in colour.
