Doukhobor Prints by John Kalmakov

Of Doukhobor background and living in the Kootenay-Boundary region of British Columbia, John Kalmakov has been painting and exhibiting his artwork locally since the 1970's. His graphic design work frequently appears in periodicals and brochures as well as on various covers, posters and banners in both the Russian and English speaking community.

With over 25 years of experience acquired in teaching art and as a practising artist and designer, John is now exploring various emerging artforms in digital media and web design.
