Judy Perrin is a Canadian artist living in Calgary. This online art studio shows her diverse
work which ranges from funky, colorful florals to soft, etherial like trees to cityscapes.Born in Calcutta, India,Judy lived there for 2 years with her parents and then moved to Calgary, Alberta. Her formative years were spent mostly in Calgary, but due to the nature of her father's work, she also spent time in Oklahoma and London, England. It was in London that Judy chose to study Nursing and she still maintains a career as an R.N. on a Hospice unit. As a self taught artist, art came to Judy later in life. After taking many lessons and workshops, she developed her own style. From bright and funky florals, to a more subdued palette in her recent cityscapes and trees, she captures a certain energetic mood. As she vascillates between colorful and vibrant to subdued and introspective, her work is constantly changing and diverse. Her love of simple and organic shapes is evident in what she choose to paint. Judy's work can be found in private and corporate collections and as far away as Germany. Her work is currently hanging in Terra Cotta Dudes, in Black Diamond and soon to be in Stonewaters, Canmore.
