[born as: Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite]
Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite (better known as Kaká), is a brilliant Brazilian footballer. He was the recipient of the prestigious Ballon d'Or and FIFA World Player of the Year awards in 2007. At the age of 18, he suffered a career-threatening and possibly paralysis-inducing spine fracture as a result of a swimming pool accident, but remarkably made a full recovery. He has gone from being a promising youngster to one of Brazil's (and the World) true football stars today. His career has spanned playing for clubs like Săo Paulo and A.C. Milan. Kaká was named as the only footballer in the peoples list of Time 100, which covers the most influential people of the world. Paolo Maldini, the then captain of Milan announced his retirement (May 22, 2009) from football, adding that he had already decided that his succesor as the captain of AC Milan would be Kaká. He is also a member of the Brazilian National Team. He is in close contact with our soccer club involving fund raising, ambassadorships, business ventures, all through Angela Kaminski.
