   PRESIDENT < Print PRESIDENT's Duties >   Return to Contacts   Top of Page
MAIN DUTIES
1. Must be a member in good standing in order to hold office as laid out in the club Constitution
2. Upon accepting and being duly elected to this position, you are willing to attend all Executive and other meetings as deemed necessary as laid out in the club Constitution
3. Must abide by, uphold and administer all the laws, rules, regulations, and conditions as set out governing our clubs Constitution
4. Call and chair all Executive, general and regular membership meetings as often as convenient or necessary to maintain the smooth operations of the club
5. Arrange and supervise the normal conduct of club business and meetings as governed by "ROBERT'S REVISED RULES OF ORDER"
6. Represent the club in any business and meetings outside of the clubs normal operations
7. May act as one of the signing authority members for the club
8. May only vote if there is a deadlock or tie within the voting count taken by the Executives, then the deciding vote shall be undertaken
9. Appoint an officer to act as a liaison between the club and any outside Associations, Committees, and agencies that may have any bearing (in whole or in part) or impact on the club
10. Make arrangements for the sponsorship of the club
11. Prepare annually a letter of welcome to be published at our tournament
12. Prepare and perform a speech at the conclusion of our annual tournament (thanking participants, tournament committees, volunteers, plus anyone else deemed needing recognition)
13. Maybe requested or granted the responsibility to sit on the Tournament Rules Committee
14. May be a representative along with any other Executive Members or Team Managers, in the selection of any new candidates eligible for consideration in becoming a club member
15. May authorize the expenditure of club funds providing the total amount does not exceed the designated amount as established by the Executive
16. To make arrangements for the use, rental or any other revenue generating opportunities of the club's Beer Trailer
17. To make arrangements of any Fund Raising opportunities presented or offered to the club

MAIN DUTIES
1. Must be a member in good standing in order to hold office as laid out in the club Constitution
2. Upon accepting and being duly elected to this position, you are willing to attend all Executive and other meetings as deemed necessary as laid out in the club Constitution
3. Must abide by, uphold and administer all the laws, rules, regulations, and conditions as set out governing our clubs Constitution
4. To assume the duties of the President when the incumbent is unavailable
5. To act as the Tournament Director, with the sole authority to organize, administer and appoint Chair persons responsible for various tournament committees
6. May act as one of the signing authority members for the club
7. To seek or acquire any additional revenues for the club, from various outside organizations, charities, governments, municipalities, or other agencies, offering such funds towards non-profit or society organizations
8. Eligible to cast one vote at any Executive meeting, regular or general meeting, or when required to do so, providing that member is in good standing with the club at the time of the vote
9. Represent the club in any business and meetings outside of the clubs normal operations, as required
10. Is the Tournament Rules Committee "Chair" person responsible for governing any disciplinary or otherwise problems arisen during the course of the tournament that are brought forward to the committee
11. May be a representative along with any other Executives or Team Managers, in the selection of any new candidates eligible for consideration in becoming a club member
12. May authorize the expenditure of club funds providing the total amount does not exceed the designated amount as established by the Executive.

MAIN DUTIES
1. Must be a member in good standing in order to hold office as laid out in the club Constitution
2. Upon accepting and being duly elected to this position, you are willing to attend all Executive and other meetings as deemed necessary as laid out in the club Constitution
3. Must abide by, uphold and administer all the laws, rules, regulations, and conditions as set out governing our clubs Constitution
4. Assume the duties of the Vice-President or the Equipment Manager when the latter(s) are unavailable
5. May act as one of the signing authority members for the club
6. Arrange, supervise and co-ordinate games, fields, lights, and gymnasiums, and to report to the Executive any correspondences arising from these arrangements and any written articles or contracts with the Secretary shall be given copies for the club records book
7. Act as referee coordinator and to report to the Executive any correspondences or written articles that arise from these proceeding, with the Secretary shall be given copies for the club records book
8. Attend League meetings and report to the Executive any correspondences, written articles or reports that arise from these meetings, with the Secretary shall be given copies for the club records book
9. To register players and send in protests to the league, when applicable
10. Eligible to cast one vote at any Executive meeting, regular or general meeting, or when required to do so, providing that member is in good standing with the club at the time of the vote
11. Only the Club Manager is granted authority by the Executive to exceed the designated maximum payable funds amount allowed (example: payment of fields and lights)
12. May authorize the expenditure of club funds providing the total amount does not exceed the designated amount as established by the Executive.
13. Volunteers or may be appointed to sit on various committees or boards as a representative for the club
14. Will be the Chair person residing and governing over all other Executives or Team Managers in the selection of any new candidates eligible for consideration in becoming a club member
15. Maybe requested or granted the responsibility to sit on the Tournament Rules Committee

   MEDIA MANAGER < Print MEDIA MANAGER's Duties >   Return to Contacts   Top of Page
MAIN DUTIES
1. Must be a member in good standing in order to hold office as laid out in the club Constitution
2. Upon accepting and being duly elected to this position, you are willing to attend all Executive and other meetings as deemed necessary as laid out in the club Constitution
3. Must abide by, uphold and administer all the laws, rules, regulations, and conditions as set out governing our clubs Constitution
4. May act as one of the signing authority members for the club.
5. May authorize the expenditure of club funds providing the total amount does not exceed the designated amount as established by the Executive.
6. Shall retain the Club Web Site Records Book (a diary of sorts) containing all web relating documents, filings, activities, improvements, changes, and of any other materials pertinent to the web site.
7. Responsible for the creation, updates, additions, deletions and maintenance of the club web site and for keeping the club web site up to date as deemed reasonably possible
8. Responsible for the continued registration and maintenance of the club domain name (www.juandefucafc.com).
9. Responsible for insuring the web site remains secure and its data protected in a reasonable manner.
10. Responsible that the club remains nameless and harmless and assured that the clubs web site will not be used for other gains, purposes, or involved directly or indirectly in any illegal activities.
11. Responsible to bring to the Executives attention any illegal activities attempted or otherwise.
12. Maintain a database of all club members, present, past or affiliated, along with dates when players joined, retired, or rescinded as a club member.
13. Supply a summary of club information as requested by an Executive, in order that they may maintain and perform their appointed duties:
  a)       No Executive shall use this information other than for club business.
  b)       If an Executive member is found to be using club information for non-club business, a judicial enquiry by the remaining Executives shall decide as to how to proceed.
14. Eligible to cast one vote at any Executive meeting, regular or general meeting, or when required to do so, providing that member is in good standing with the club at the time of the vote.
15. May upon a request by an Executive member, supply the following information:
  a)       Copies of the Club members, club's Bylaws and Constitution, Executive and Managers, non club members, web site address and passwords, and any other materials deemed pertinent and found reasonable by the Media Manager.
16. Responsible in keeping the clubs designation as a Society - in "Good Standing" with the BC Registry Services.
17. Maintain and retain in a safe location the clubs Society "Registration Certificate" (Registration Number S-0055199, JUAN DE FUCA MASTERS FOOTBALL CLUB).
18. Shall keep and retain all club records pertaining to our Society, which may include:
  a)       Maintaining and keeping of the Society "The Minute Book".
  b)       Responsible for the Registered & Records information.
  c)       Maintaining and keeping a list of current Directors.
  d)       Filing the Annual Report and any others BC Registry Services forms as required.
  e)       Retaining and keeping copies of all materials, correspondences, letters, and any other items pertinent to and as laid out by the Societies Act, the BC Registry Services, or that maybe deemed necessary or of importance.

MAIN DUTIES
1. Must be a member in good standing in order to hold office as laid out in the club Constitution
2. Upon accepting and being duly elected to this position, you are willing to attend all Executive and other meetings as deemed necessary as laid out in the club Constitution
3. Must abide by, uphold and administer all the laws, rules, regulations, and conditions as set out governing our clubs Constitution
4. To keep accurate records of all receipts, expenditures, and contributions.
5. To present an up to date, accurate financial report at all Executive, regular or general meetings, and to prepare these financial record statements at each Executive meeting or within two months of the last financial report statement presented.
6. To authorize expenditures of minor funds, from petty cash accounts, not in excess of an amount as established and regulated by the Executive. All expenditures are to be subsequently ratified by the Executive at an Executive meeting.
7. Will be one of the signing authority members for the club.
8. Eligible to cast one vote at any Executive meeting, regular or general meeting, or when required to do so, providing that member is in good standing with the club at the time of the vote.

MAIN DUTIES
1. Must be a member in good standing in order to hold office as laid out in the club Constitution
2. Upon accepting and being duly elected to this position, you are willing to attend all Executive and other meetings as deemed necessary as laid out in the club Constitution
3. Must abide by, uphold and administer all the laws, rules, regulations, and conditions as set out governing our clubs Constitution
4. Assume the duties of the Club Manager when the latter is unavailable
5. May act as one of the signing authority members for the club
6. Handle and maintain an inventory of all uniforms, equipment, and apparel, as well as jersey number allocations for the club
7. Stores all uniforms, equipment, and apparel in a secure, safe and dry environment
8. Coordinates the supply of uniforms, equipment, and apparel for distribution to the team members
9. Recommends the following upon the approval of the Executive:
  a)       The renewal or replacement of old or worn out uniforms, equipment and apparel
  b)       To purchase new uniforms, equipment and apparel
10. Carry adequate supplies of spare sets of uniforms or bibs to allow teams to wear alternate colours
11. Handles other promotional articles, equipment, or apparel pertaining to the club and maintains an inventory of such
12. Recommend the purchase of promotional articles, equipment, or apparel, to the Executive
13. Volunteer or be appointed to sit on various committees or boards as a representative for the club
14. Maybe requested or granted the responsibility to sit on the Tournament Rules Committee
15. Eligible to cast one vote at any Executive meeting, regular or general meeting, or when required to do so, providing that member is in good standing with the club at the time of the vote
16. May authorize the expenditure of club funds providing the total amount does not exceed the designated amount as established by the Executive

MAIN DUTIES
1. Must be a member in good standing in order to hold office as laid out in the club Constitution
2. Upon accepting and being duly elected to this position, you are willing to attend all Executive and other meetings as deemed necessary as laid out in the club Constitution
3. Must abide by, uphold and administer all the laws, rules, regulations, and conditions as set out governing our clubs Constitution
4. To maintain and keep accurate minutes of all records of proceedings, verbiage, voting, and funding expenditures, and all other discussions or correspondences
5. To distribute these minutes to the Executive and Managers, prior to or no later than two (2) weeks following the meeting or if a later date is required, the Executive may approve and select a later date, prior to ending the meeting (of which the selected approval date shall be entered into the minutes).
6. To maintain all club correspondence and keep copies of all incoming and outgoing correspondences
7. To endeavour to ensure that all members are made aware of regular, special, general and regular meetings, as well to assure that the Executive and Mangers are also made aware of any other meetings
8. To provide and maintain an email contact listing of all team, associate, social, and honorary members
9. To provide and maintain a contact listing of all non-club members that may or may not interact with the club for the purpose of doing business
10. Responsible for the public relations of the club in regards to letters, correspondences, photos or otherwise, or as deemed necessary by the Executive
11. May act as one of the signing authority members for the club
12. Eligible to cast one vote at any Executive meeting, regular or general meeting, or when required to do so, providing that member is in good standing with the club at the time of the vote
13. Shall keep and retain the Club Records pertaining to , the clubs internal and external correspondences, letters, photos and as deemed necessary or of importance by the Executive
14. To provide in either hardcopy or in digital format the following articles, upon request:
  a)       Latest contact list of the club members
  b)       Latest contact list of the club Executive and Managers
  c)       Any other materials deemed pertinent by the Executive
15. Maintain all records pertaining to or involving the procurement of additional funds that the club may pursue in coordination with the other Executives and Managers
16. May authorize the expenditure of club funds providing the total amount does not exceed the designated amount as established by the Executive.

MAIN DUTIES
1. Must be a member in good standing in order to hold office as laid out in the club Constitution
2. Upon accepting and being duly elected to this position, you are willing to attend all Executive and other meetings as deemed necessary as laid out in the club Constitution
4. May authorize the expenditure of club funds providing the total amount does not exceed the designated amount as established by the Executive.
5. May act as one of the signing authority members for the club
6. Contact and coordinate with those that are non-active members in an attempt to entice or ensure those members stay involved or stay in contact with the club
7. To take advantage of the knowledge and expertise each non-active member has to offer the club (this can be a very valuable asset and its importance in maintaining the longevity and historical information pertaining to the club)
8. Responsible for maintaining a listing (at best effort) of all non- active and past members
9. Responsible for keeping the non-active members informed of the clubs activities, encouraging and invite them back to once again being part of the club
10. To bring forth any enticing ideas that may bring non-active or past members back to the club (ie.: gatherings, meetings, social events, a newsletter, etc.) and present those ideas to the Executive
11. Eligible to cast one vote at any Executive meeting, regular or general meeting, or when required to do so, providing that member is in good standing with the club at the time of the vote
