The Challenge:
Stay together for the Arduous Course around Henry Island, with
a lunch break at Posey Island and another kind of break at
British Camp. |
 |
The course shown was
sailed in a clockwise direction, with the flood tide in the morning and
the ebb tide in the afternoon. The wind was mostly from the South. |

|
| The Regatta:
A wonderful day on the
water, filled with good humor, good seamanship, good winds, and good
fellowship. We stayed close together most of the time; if a boat
pulled ahead, it moved to the back. |

| The Victory: Everyone
showed up for lunch (and later, for dinner). Pictured is the Posey
Island fleet and the Posey Island posse photographed by a
terrified kayaker. |
