Happy days in Kloof 1997

Thoughts about my friend Jonathan Silcock who passed away May 16, 2002 in Kloof, Natal. You have gone, Jonathan, and we won't see you for a while. May the Lord help us to never forget the times we had with you. Although you were a grown man we enjoyed the boy we saw in you - your roaring laughter and infatuating smile - your cheeky eyes full of fun and mischief - your dry wit - always being there with your big arms hugging us when we really needed it. Thanks for being an instrument in the Lord's hand to help me on the way out of a dark time of my life. I will never forget the Friday lunches where we talked about everything and nothing - when we had fun in the sun as the dark clouds of life passed over us and the Lord brought us onto new levels of life in Him.

Your were Annie's best friend and we mourn and cry with her in our hearts - may she find comfort in the Lord's arms and know that she is loved and safe in Him. Fare you well, my friend, have a great time, and when we meet again - PARTY TIME!!!!! I will miss you Jonathan! We will all miss you! Jan Mott Victoria BC, Canada May 17, 2002
