JOUSTING HORSES

Rowan
RowanJoined the team in 2008, and has taken to jousting like she was born to do it. Purchased from Birdshill Park Ranch when she was 3, she is looking forward to jousting on her old home turf this year at the Cook's Creek Medieval Festival.

Diego
DiegoBorn in 2003, 2008 was his first year jousting, and now HE considers himself a pro. Next to jousting, his best skill is stealing food from unsuspecting children in the crowd!

Peter
PeterPurchased in 2009, Peter has been a ranch horse all his life, and has a bad habit of rounding up the ground crew!

Galahad
Galahad2010 was his training year. Look for him at our late season events (If he's a good boy all summer)

Games Horses

Willow
The most colourful of the STALC horses, She is hard working and splashy, and keen to try anything.

Arthur
An Arab cross, Arthur likes to come in first, and has a strong competitive streak.

Guinevere
Calm and careful, Guinevere cares far more about looking after her rider than winning.

Calypso
Born in 2008, SHE expects to joust anytime now, just like the big horses she lives with. However, she will be disappointed to only be doing "Baby" horse things for another year.

Juliet
Juliet leased, now part of the inaugural line of horses used in therapeutic riding program out of the Winthrop Arena near Millarville.

Juliet trivia: can't play "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" for fear of an old style entrance.

Freya

James Richardson on FreyaAfter many long and illustrious years as a front line jousting horse, Freya contents herself with another group of special riders.
