CALEDONIA NIGHT
AT LANGLEY LODGE

16 November 2006
Kudos to Langley lodge degree team.
Once again the troops got fired up in true "BRAVEHEART" form as they went about their business.
It's so nice to see so many decked out in their traditional Scottish dress for this annual occasion.

As most of you know,
Caledonia Night also holds a special place in the heart of VW Bro.Tom Browning.
It's a great pleasure for us to watch him leading those Pipes & Drums around the
banquet room in perfect step, tune, and harmony. ( Ok Jim don't over do it )

It would'nt be fare if we didn't thank the back room staff for their efforts also.
The hard liners ( The Kitchen Staff ) they too excelled in the effort to satisfy the pallet
with their famous Scottish Cuisine. Rabbie Burns would've been proud of you.

Below are some pictures of the occasion. As always click them to go to full size.

I've also included a little 30 second video of the pipers. Turn up your speakers and have a boo at it.

BEHOLD YOUR WORSHIPFUL MASTER

Dear Brethern, on Thursday September 28th 2006.
We had the pleasure of installing Worshipful Brother Willem Van't Slot in his new chair East of the alter.

Our Worshipful Master knows he has big shoes to fill after the chair was vacated by Worshipful Brother David Madeley.
However, with his new team listed on our ( FRONT PAGE ) It looks like we are in for a highly successful and entertaining year.

Many visitors were in attendance. There's no doubt all were impressed by the proceedings taking place.
I took some pictures and have added them below. Just click on them to take them to full size.

JOPPA LODGE WINS THE TIKI TIKI

I'm happy to announce once again Joppa Lodge members rose to the occasion this past summer.
Once again we went out and won the George Small "TIKI TIKI GOLF TOURNAMENT" at Mylora Golf Course in Richmond B.C.

Our Lodge was well represented and not only won the team event. They picked up the honours of Low Gross, and Low Net too.
That old rascal M.W.B. Roy Wellman once again showing us his Newfoundland "No Surrender Attitude". Good on you Roy.

This little golf outing is a load of fun. If you've never played in the event please consider getting involved next June.
A very special thanks to R.W.B. Bryan Boorse. His assistance around the (19) hole selling tickets, looking after prizes, and
general assistance, was very much appreciated. Thanks Bryan.

CRAB NIGHT AT JOPPA LODGE

Thursday May 11th 2006 was our annual crab festival.
It was our extreme pleasure to have our Grand Master MW Bro. Robert McSween in attendance.
There's no doubt he really enjoyed the evening. As always his sence of humor had us all in stiches.

A good time had by all and a special thank you to VW Bro. Tom Browning for supplying these photos below.
I've loaded them up in thumbnail format. Just click on them to take them to full size.

We wont go in to detail naming everybody. You know who you are.
