Jo’s Bookshelf

In Spider Robinson’s book, Free Lunch, he talks about how neat it is to go through someone else’s bookshelf, how if you see a favourite book of yours you can get their reaction and then you can ask them about something of theirs that looks interesting.  That is one of my favourite things in the world, the best way to get something really, really good to read. Of course I read book reviews, but what reviewer has recently talked about Perfume? Or Gone-Away Lake?

This is my bookshelf, and it includes new books, old books, re-reads, magazines, web sites of interest, things I’ve picked up and put right back down again, music and movies and other items that find their way onto the rather full shelves (both literal and imagined) here chez Jojo.

So take a look around, and send me any recommendations of things to read that I might have missed.
