Artistically carved Briar pipes were a particular passion for me. I loved the challenge of creating an intriguing pipe shape with good balance, line, and energy flow, while working around any briar flaws that may be present. Often a pipe design would go in an entirely new and unexpected direction as a pit was uncovered. I tried to look at these occurrences as serendipitous. Well you know I can't make pipes anymore, but I have lots of fond memories creating each and every one of these pipes. I think there are still a few available at Cup O'Joes, and Watch City Cigar. I am still being creative though, and trying hard to build a livlihood again after having to leave the Pipe making business.
