Wayne and I made our
first trip together... I went almost reluctantly having made a promise
to myself never to "rough it" again. It was a pleasant surprise
to discover I loved the tough stuff in spite of all the old memories of
discomfort.

We watched the octopus in
the tide pool at Michigan. First year of reservations. We
thought we noticed fewer hikers although we were told 20 to 25 were
leaving each day.

Began at Thrasher after a
ride
over with Norm's nephew, Luke. At Camper, we ran into Brook, the
guide who had done 17 trips in 3-4 years. The 76 year old
women was part of their group. Visited Ian and Kath
Doyle. Presented Monique with a book.
