Living With Computers
It came as a shock to compile this list of all these computers we have owned over the years.   Check the following link to see different models sold by Apple.

1979
Apple II Plus
Apple IIOur first computer and probably the one with the most memories.  If we had known thirty years ago that this machine would become a dominate force in our lives, I wonder if we would have jumped onto the bandwagon with such enthusiasm.
1983Apple IIe  'clone'Apple 2EOwning a computer was no longer a novelty but a necessity.  We took advantage of a 'deal' and purchased a 'clone' of the most recent Apple, called Apco.  Many clones came on the market during this period.
1989MacPlus 4 megs of ramMacPlusIt's hard to believe we were enticed by these first Macs with their tiny screens.  They proved to be one of the most reliable of machines and we soon began a love affair with the graphics which had a clarity far surpassing anything that used a TV monitor.
1989MacSE 2 drivesSEI don't remember how we came to aquire this machine.  Joan remembers winning a machine at a school function and this may have been it.  Two drive meant larger programs could be loaded and we thought it was super fast.
1990MacClassicClassicMoving ahead... who knows why we bought this machine?  The school district made a deal we couldn't refuse.
1999PowerMac 7500 (used)PowerMac 7500This machine had a video card and great power.  I paid $1100 to a company in Ontario that revamped old computers.  It was about two years old when I received it but I was very pleased.  It had originally sold new for almost $6000.  It accepted analog video data directly from a camera.
1999Imac G3Imac G3In a two computer family this became our flashy new kitchen machine.
2003Power Mac G4Power Mac G4I remember thinking "fast" when I first fired this one up.  It still serves well.  Perhaps the longest running of any of our computers, it supports the current system and software for 2008 and has RAM to spare.
2003Imac G5 Intel ChipImac G5This was our replacement for our Imac G3 which began to give us fits when it wouldn't run some software.   It's our first 20 inch screen and has such a huge storage capacity we have yet to fill it.
2006MacBookMacBookWe wanted something to take along on trips and serve us in the trailer.  It connects to GPS and our cell phones.
2008EeeZee PC (light pocket book from Acer)Asus Eee PcA special purchase for a special trip.  We wrote a 'blog' on this while we toured Europe.
2008ITOUCH ipodItouchI was facinated by the technology in this machine, and still am.  It holds a music collection and collects mail or the web in outrageous locations.
2009Apple TVApple TVWe have accumulated thousands of digital photos and have a large library of music.  I was looking for a way to extend our computers to other TVs and make our collections portable so they can be used in our trailer.
