Standards Collaborative Education Summit

Jan 28 - Standards Collaborative Education Summit in Toronto. I was invited to give an Introduction to HL7 V3 tutorial for the SC. My intinerary:

  • Jan 27 Flt AC178 from Edmonton to Toronto
  • Jan 29 Flt AC177 from Toronto to Edmonton

I'l be staying at the Delta Toronto East. I had no concerns about my qualifications to present the material. However, one never really knows how things will go over with the participants. In the end, it sounds like people enjoyed the session and found it very informative...at least that's what they told me...we'll see how the anonymous evaluations look. Rumour has it only a couple of people dozed off :-)

Spent a nice evening with some folks from the rock...the whole idea of "skit night" sounds pretty interesting (though perhaps somewhat fraught with peril). I'm also told I need to check out Donnie Dumphy Having a Time on Youtube.
