Clan Chattan is a Webring that allows internet users to travel from one Scottish Family genealogy page to another without the need of a search engine. It is also possible to randomly explore the sites within the Clan Chattan Webring.

In order to become a member of Clan Chattan Webring, you need to make sure that your site complies with the Clan Chattan Guidelines, click on "Join" in the Webring Navigation box provided below, and wait until you hear from the Ringmaster that you have been accepted into the program. Please allow several days for acceptance into the Ring as sites are added at the Ringmaster's convenience. Please use the Tartan of your choice, I use the MacPherson Dress Tartan for the Webring site id, or just use the Clan Chattan tartan if you wish. See bottom of page for Clan Chattan Tartan.

By submitting your site for consideration, you are stating that you agree to abide by the Clan Chattan Website! Furthermore, you understand that you will be sent a Scritp or HTML code to be placed on your site, this code MUST be placed on your site within the next TWO WEEKS. Failure to do so may result in your site being deleted from the Clan Chattan queue and you will then need to re-apply if you wish to participate.
