Gravestones and memorials for those named on this website can be found in (183) cemeteries in (22) countries throughout the world.

If your travels take you to any of these countries, or you are close to some of the cemeteries listed, please consider taking photographs of the cemeteries and the gravestones for  this website.

Please do not damage flowers planted near the headstone, make notes of any gravestone epitaph you find.

Pictures taken in full sunlight could be difficult to read, pictures taken in cloudy conditions are usually the best.

If you use a digital camera, JPG format is preferred, please take a pictures  of the cemetery and the gravestone at low resolution (100 Kb - for the website) and a high resolution picture (1,000 Kb - for archive purposes).  If you use a film camera, please note that Barnsley and Hoyland libraries now have a printed version of this website available for your review, they also have Internet access and will scan any pictures or information you would like to share with this website, by email to, HWM_site@shaw.ca
