Fiskesuppe
Fish soup

1 lb. fish filet
1 onion
2 carrots
3 potatoes
1 cup milk
Salt
Pepper
Parsley

Cut vegetables in cubes and cook in pot for 30 minutes.
Cut filets in cubes and add to the vegetables. Cook until tender.
Add milk, salt and pepper to taste

Hønsekødsuppe
Chicken soup

1 large hen
3 carrots
1 celery root
Salt
Parsley, Celery top and onion (tied together)
Place hen in 2 liter water and bring to a roiling boil. Skim the soup
and add the vegetables. Simmer for three hours, strain soup and add salt.
enjoy with dumplings. Go to Dumplings (Melboller)

Gule Ærter
Yellow pea soup

2 cups yellow peas
2 lb.. pork
1 large onion
2 potatoes
2 carrots
Salt
Thyme

Soak peas overnight in water, in a large soup pot. Use same water
and add pork and vegetables, bring to a boil and simmer for 2- 3 hours,
remove vegetables and the pork when   peas are tender,
press them through a strainer and put back into soup. Cut vegetables into
cubes and add to soup. Add thyme and salt to taste. Slice pork and
serve with mustard. Try danish thin pancakes for dessert. Pancakes
