THIS IS A FISH STORY

 Did you hear of the stranger walking down the street in a small village. He met a fisherman with twelve large fish on a string. Could you show me how you get all that fish? The stranger asked. Sure said the fisherman, I get them in the lake just down the street. Why don't you meet me tomorrow morning and I will show you how to do it. The two men met the following morning, and went out in a boat. When on the lake, the fisherman took two sticks of dynamite out from under the seat, lit them and heaved them overboard. A big boom, and several fish were laying on the surface. I thought as much said the stranger. You are in trouble. I am the game warden. The fisherman took out two more sticks, lit them and put them in the wardens hand. Well are you going to fish or what he asked :-).

Fiskeboller
Fish dumplings

1 lb. fresh fish
1 cup cream
1 egg
2 tbs.. potato flour
3 tbs.. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. white pepper

Clean fish and remove all bones and skin. Grind very fine. Add flour and egg mix well.
Keep mixing and add cream slowly. Add salt and pepper and fry on a frying pan or boil until done.

Bagte fiskefilet
Baked filets of sole

4 large filet of sole
3 tbs.. butter
1 tbs.. lemon juice
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. butter
1/2 cup peeled shrimps

Place filets and butter in roasting pan. Season with salt and pepper.
Bake approx. 15 minutes in 400o oven, then sprinkle with
shrimps and lemon juice. Enjoy with melted butter.

Spegesild med løgsovs
Herring with onion sauce

1 large salt herrring
water
milk
1 cup onion sauce
Boiled potatoes

Skin and de-bone herring. Soak herring in a mixture of half water and
half milk overnight. Cut in small pieces and serve. DO NOT COOK.
Enjoy with boiled potatoes. Onion Gravy
