The Process

GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR PUBLISHED REPORT

you must include all written material with your report, from outline to notetaking, draft copy, cue cards, and published copy.
your report must be accompanied by posters, charts, models, samples, or some visual display.

Your published report should also contain:

a title page - your name, topic, and an interesting graphic representing your topic
table of contents - each section of report begins on separate page (remember to number pages)
bibliography - includes all resources used including text, video, internet, etc.

Remember to plan your project in your daily agenda. The timeline below should assist your planning.

**Japan - Oral Presentation Timeline**
Topic due	week 1 - Thursday
Research completed in point form	week 3 - Thursday
Categorize facts	week 3 - Thursday
List sources of information	week 3 - Thursday
Write draft copy - sentences/paragraphs	week 4 - Thursday
Edit and proofread draft	week 5 - Tuesday
Write published copy	week 6 - Tuesday
Prepare visuals and cue cards	week 6 - Thursday
Present to class	week 7
