SERVICES PROVIDEDACRO Radiant Floor Heating Systems Inc provides a full range of services to its clients. We serve clients throughout Canada and the USA. We work with Architects, Engineers, Distributors, General Contractors, Installers, and Home Owners.
CONSULTING SERVICESWe design "WARM FLOOR" Heating Systems for our clients throughout North America. Frequently we are asked to integrate alternate energy sources with more conventional heating sources. This has become a specialty of ours. The most popular alternate energy source is to integrate a Thermomax Solar Collector using Mazdon Evacuated Glass Tubes with a conventional heat source such as a Gas or Oil fired Boiler. This type of system will supply Domestic Hot Water, as well as space heating. We also design systems with Wood fired Boilers, Ground Source Heat Pumps and with Wind Turbines. Due to the fact that circulator pumps are required, most of our systems utilize Electricity from a Power Utility. However, we have also designed systems for clients who are "off grid". The normal procedure here is to install Photovoltaic Panels, Batteries, an Inverter and a stand by Generator This requires designing a system with very low power consumption and as low a water temperature as possible. Whether it is a Log Home, a Straw Bale Home, or a more conventional home, we have been there and done that.
DESIGN AND SUPPLYWhen we design a System across the country we are often asked to supply all or part of the equipment. We often supply specialty items including Distribution Manifolds, Controls, Stainless Steel / Heat Exchanger Tanks etc. We can supply any or all of the components. We do not normally supply the Boilers. We prefer that they be supplied locally. We can also provide on site supervision if and when required.
FULL DESIGN AND INSTALLATIONIn the immediate geographical area we Contract for the Design and Installation of the Complete System. This applies to Vancouver Island, the Gulf Island and parts of the Lower Mainland of British Columbia.
PACKAGED SYSTEMSFor those who wish to install there own system, we will Design the system and make up an Installation Package with all of the material needed, as well as detailed instructions. We of course are available for consultation and on site assistance if needed.
