Jung refers to an introvertive movement towards the self, a movement within.

In both cases, there is a movement towards the Center, what Dooyeweerd calls the "concentric direction" of consciousness (NC I, 57-58). It is a movement within, towards the Center.

Baader describes it as a centripetal movement away from the Center.
