Very expressive and vibrant painting with a Jewish fiddler at night in a shtetl somewhere in Eastern Europe, with a lot of movement and energy, in tones of blue, purple, green and other colors. Reminiscent of the paintings of Marc Chagall.
The ink line drawing is spontaneous and raw and very expressive. The acrylic paint is bright and vibrant, with many hues of blue, green and purple, and gives the painting texture. The heavy weight paper shows through in many places providing additional texture and interest. This painting is on paper so you will have to have it framed (it is sold without a frame). You can get quite a different 'look' with different frames - see some examples below.
