This Page Is Dedicated To Rotaries... What More Can I Say?
So this page is all about rotary engines; why would I have a special page on my site just for them you ask? Well it is because I have a special area in my heart for them, no matter what other people say. Anyone who is a real rotary fanatic will know where I am coming from.
This page, like most on my site has different areas on the main page, and then links to other pages with information regarding that specific topic. Scroll down through the different topics.
I believe that Felix Wankel was the main influence on the early rotary engine, and the modern rotary engine is basically still the same design he made. This article was not completely written by me, just to let you know.
This article shows you the different cars that the rotary engine powered, and still is powering. It features, of course, the legendary Mazda RX-7. Most of the cars are made by Mazda including Cosmo, Cosmo S, RX-2, RX-3, RX-4, RX-7, and now the RX-8. It also looks at Chevy's Rotary powered Corvette of the early 1970's.
