Welcome to the "what's new?" section of Jeff Favelle Reptiles. This is where you'll find information on what's going on in terms of breeding, hatching, birthing, and anything else involved with the animals here. I'll also update any new exciting purchases here, as well as any new animals that become available. Just to give you all a heads up, without having to scroll through the whole site everyday! This way, you can just check this page to see if anything worth looking at has been updated! Ha ha! I'll clear out the old entries regularily as this page gets too long.

February 2010

Bred the Butter Pinstripe to a few Spiders this Winter/Spring. Hope to get at least a few Butter Spins! Butter Bees won't be frowned upon either though, LOL! :-)

February 2010

Had a bunch of Carpets ovulate this month. If you're looking for Carpets, EVERYONE in Canada knows it all starts here. :-)

March 1st, 2010

FINALLY! Thought most of the Boas were done for the year, but with a little patience and a little luck, I finally managed to get these two interested in each other. Motley het Albino x Albino. Fingers crossed!

March 27th 2010

YES! Had some Boa ovulations this week. All Sunglow x 100% het Albino pairings. Should be some real lookers in these, including some CHERRY BOMBS. That's right. Stay tuned...

The BP's also started to ovulated! Should be a good year in 2010. I have fully re-focused my energies and Ball Pythons are going to make an extreme comeback in my collection. I've been breeding them since 1993 and I really got burnt out on the whole Ball Python thing. Well I'm back and re-energized. So watch out!

April 10th, 2010

Had an early bredli ovulation today, which was nice to see!

April 11th, 2010

Had my last Boa ovulation today! Big female Albino bred to a Motley 100% het Albino. Fingers really crossed hard on this one!

April 19th & 22nd, 2010

Had a couple of Jag clutches recently. These should be THE BOMB. I can't wait to see these hatchlings!!!

June 6th, 2010

Got another clutch of Ball eggs today. Significant because its the half-way point. My 8th clutch. Only 16 clutches here this season, but this is just the beginning! ;-)

June 11th, 12th, 13th 2010........and probably more, LOL!

At the show! Hope to see all you BC-ers and Albertans there!!!

Came home to a couple Jaguar Carpet clutches hatching! The true NEXT generation!

**Update**

Just went into the Ball room and found 2 clutches. Both females had pre-lay shed 28 days ago. Nice to see them lay on the same day! Medium-sized girls....was hoping for 8 eggs each. One was 7 eggs and the other 9....so just as good!

July 1st, 2010! Happy CANADA DAY! :-)

Had a nice clutch of Lessers hatch today. Should be some VERY reduced and BRIGHT Lessers from this bunch. 1 male, 5 females, and 1.1 normals. Not bad!

July 3rd, 2010

A bit better luck on my next Spider clutch, thankfully! Last one was just one GIANT single egg, LOL! Managed to get a 5-egger this time around. Was hoping for 6, but beggers can't choosers!

**NOTICE** Please read!

Hey guys, there's been a LOT of talk of whether or not Red Deer is a go this year or not. Well it is. Red Deer 2.0. Check the link for all the details. People should be getting excited about this!

July 5th, 2010

Just to keep this thing current, I thought I'd add in a Ball clutch I had today. 8 eggs from a normal female. Multiple fathers; ButterPin, Pastel Lesser, and a Lesser. Be interesting to see what pops out! :-) HUGE eggs....barely fit in the egg box!

July 17th, 2010

Last clutch of the year! Wasn't expecting this girl to go and if she did, wasn't expecting a fertile clutch. She was bred with a VERY young Pastel Lesser male.
