Pack Snow Trip 2012

Hey there! The annual snow trip to Mt.Washington is fast approaching and it’s time to start getting all of the information out there. This year we will be doing snowboarding, and if the trip turns out like it has in the past, then this will prove to be an AWESOME time for everyone. The kids will also be able to make it out of this whole venture with their Snowboarder badge! Parents and volunteers are welcomed and highly encouraged!

Below is a schedule of the bottle drives planned for the trip. With a little elbow grease (aka these Bottle Drives) we can get the costs of this trip mostly, if not completely, covered, and that is ALWAYS a good thing to hear. That is all the more reason for every kid and parent to roll up their sleeves and help with the fundraising, because attendance at these bottle drives ensures that your child gets a share of the money raised. If you are unable to make it out to help drive or sort on these dates, then there is still a chance to help. We have flyers that you can hand out along the drive routes.

  1. Saturday, January 28th- Meet at the church across from the Westshore Tim Horton’s (Lutheran Church Redeemer LCC). 9am-Noon.
  2. Saturday, February 11th- Meet at Ma Miller’s Pub (2903 Sooke Lake Road). 9am-Noon.
  3. Saturday, February 25th- Meet at the church across from the Westshore Tim Horton’s (Lutheran Church Redeemer LCC). 9am-Noon.

Now here is the cost list for this trip. Like I said already, with these bottle drives we should be able to get the costs of the trip mostly, if not fully, covered. We have accounted for roughly 30 people attending, so we have a little wiggle room in either direction when it comes to numbers.

    • Lift ticket - $29.75

We will be preparing meals for everybody at the Chalet, so it is of the utmost importance that you let us know if your child has any allergies or dietary requirements that have changed or are different than those on their registration forms. We will also need to get a list of heights and shoe sizes of everyone planning to attend so that the people at Mt.Washington can have our equipment ready for us when we arrive.
