Theme – Beavers Around the World

During this month we will be learning about beavers from different countries and seeing how they are different from ours, we will be singing some of their songs and playing some of the games they play- should be interesting and lots of fun.

We will also be learning about Baden Powell, who is the founder of scouting, and having a pot luck dinner in honour of him.

7 Feb – Beavers in England

11 Feb – Day Hike at Francis King Park

14 Feb – Beavers in Australia (Joey Scouts)

18 Feb - Bottle drive 9:30am until 11:30am- we would like to see all our beavers out to do some door knocking and collecting. And if there are any parents who could stay to help it would be greatly appreciated.

21 Feb – BP Potluck Week - 6-8 - This is a family event so please come siblings are welcome as well. Beavers are bringing appetizers.

28 Feb – Beavers in USA (Tiger Scouts)/Beaver Buggy Racing

Dues:

We collect weekly dues of $1.00 a week. These dues go towards getting things to better improve the beaver program, like arts and crafts supplies.

Dress:

Please bring your child prepared for outdoor activities as we will be trying to go outside whenever possible.
