Beaver Camp Kit List

Winter Kit List

Outside clothes appropriate for the weather (we will be going for hikes).

  • Uniforms to be worn – to and from camp.
  • Warm jacket
  • Hat and gloves (it gets cold at night – during campfire)
  • A smile
  • Clothing, which should include:
    1. At least 3 changes of clothes
    2. Sweaters / sweatshirts
    3. Sleepwear
    4. Spare shoes/ rubber boots (in case of inclement weather)
    5. Toothbrush, toothpaste, brush or comb etc. in a small container
    6. Sleeping Bag
    7. Pillow
    8. Air mattress or foam pad
    9. Campfire Blanket (or any warm blanket)
    10. Bed buddy (if required)
    11. Dishes and utensils (mug, plate, bowl, knife, fork, spoon) all in a bag (mesh is best for drip drying). These items should all be marked, in a pinch adhesive (medical) tape will generally last the weekend
    12. Bag for dirty clothes
    13. Flashlight
  • Make sure child’s name appears on everything!!!!
  • Medication: *Any Medication and instructions should be given to the Leader in charge of First Aid for the event. All medications must be in the original container – clearly stating name of child and dosage required.

Beavers do not bring food, candy, gum, toys or radios to sleepovers or camps (snacks will be provided).

Summer Kit List

  • All clothes and items should be marked with your family name for ease of identification!
  • Beavers do not bring food, candy, gum, toys, flashlights or radios to sleepovers or camps (snacks will be provided).
  • Any Medication and instructions should be given to the Leader in charge of First Aid for the event.
  • Arrival and Departure will be in full Beaver Uniform (this is a Scouting event after all).
