Scraps,
Scrap are diecut raised sheets of images that
were available to young girls from about 1890 when color print became
popular. Young girls would have a sheet of the same images and
trade them with there friends. These pages are reproductions of
my grandmother's scraps album which I was so lucky to receive. These
pages include angels, young girls and flowers etc.
Your mini children will be delighted to
have the fold out page to include there own scraps. Actual size is

Romance, This book is filled with the wonderful images of romance and marriage by Harrison Fisher. The final page shows their new love, a baby. Harrison Fisher (1875-1935) was an illustrator of women for many magazines. For the illustrations in this book I used a series of vinatage postcards I bought that were framed in a series. Just beautiful. Flowers of the Glen and Bower, This book is a selection of reproductions of eight of the lovely chromolithograph paintings of Suzie Skelding. My original book is from 1886. This is a treasure for the young Victorian artist in your family who loves roses and is a true nature lover. The cover is authentic too. Actual size is 29/32"x24/32" Wedding Album, A beautiful gift for the new bride or family heirloom. The album features a wedding poem, vignette sepia photos from my collection of wedding photos from the turn of the century and gorgeous reprographic lithographed gift cards. Postcards, Wonderful for the postcard collector in your doll's house family. Includes 28 beautiful postcards including beautiful children to watercolor scenes and greeting cards. These have all been taken from my vintage postcard collection. your mini family member will love to look back fondly on the thoughtfulness behind the cards. The cover is covered in beautiful lilacs with the portrait of a young girl, much the same as the covers of albums were created at the turn of the century. Shades of VioletA nautical theme that every Victorian parlor needs. This album will remind the inhabitants of their trip to the sea. It starts with a photo of a wonderful sea captain and contains other vintage photos of sea vessels and one of children playing on a beach, from my collection. It includes five illustrations from the turn of the century, of kids playing in the ocean and with boats. Lithographs of shells, fish and crabs are included to remind the children of their seaside adventures. Actual size is 21/32"x27/32" This album is reminiscent of all the wonderful Victorian violet images. It contains eight pages from my turn of the century violet postcards. Twenty six postcards in all. These lovely cards were sent to loved ones mostly as Birthday Greetings while one was a hand painted thank you. I have framed each of the pages with various shades of violet. Violets represents such a gentle image of caring. This book coordinates with the fragrance box of the same name. |
