Mother Goose, This book has wonderful vintage illustrations by Margaret Evan Price. If you like the style of Mary Englebreit you will love these illustrations. They too have the simplicity and innocence of youth. This book contains eight pages of nursery rhymes from the Queen of Hearts making her heart tarts to Georgie making the girls cry. 5/8"x 6/8" Slice of Life, This colorful book contains eight pages of beautiful full color illustrations. I chose these illustrations from old 20s and 30s children's books from my collection. They each include young children in various playful activities. The Three Bears, The book is a reproduction of one of my collection of The Three Bears books from the 30's. There are ten full colour illustration pages including the inside and back cover. Beautiful colours and detail. You can see the 1/2" and 1/4" version in the top book's photo. |

Girls and Dolls, This is an album containing eight beautiful black and white photos of girls holding their dolls. I've been collecting these photos for years and it is nice to share them with you. One of the girl's dolls is in a buggy from the turn of the century. One younger girl is sitting in her rocking chair on the front steps looking like she was not to pleased to have to stop playing to have her photo taken. 100 Things a Girl Can Make Shown at the top of this page with a mini girl enjoying it. Repoduced from a vintage, 1923, activity books for girls. I have chosen 10 of the crafts and activities for each page. Your mini girl can work along with the illustrations to learn to make a fan, pom poms, pillows, and bunny calendar and a beaded cover for a milk jug, a book cover and other interesting crafts. |

Science Book, This book has illustrations from the popular Boy Mechanic magazines from 1913. There are eight very detailed illustrations of airplanes, a sail boat and other complicated mechanisms that will appeal to the young man in you miniature family. He will spend hours studying this book. Before you know it he will be helping you make all sorts of interesting miniature scientific contraptions. You may need to build on an extra room, lol. Circus, This is a shaped reproduction of a vintage children's book. Lots of images of clowns, lions and other memorable circus acts. It would look great in a children's room that was filled with bright, primary colours and circus motifs and balloons. |
