Victoria B.C., This book is really a "home" book since we live in Victoria, B.C. Canada. it is a beautiful city as can be seen by the twenty four vintage post cards from my collection. They include the Parliament Buildings, Butchart Gardens, Beacon Hill Park and "The Causeway". It also has a fold out page for other Victoria memorabilia you might have. Actual album size is 32/32'x28/32". Butchart Gardens, Butchart Gardens is one of Victoria's most popular tourist attractions. It contains eight pages of photos I took in the late summer when the flowers were incredibly colorful. I have tried to highlight the best these wonderful gardens had to offer, from the Japanese garden to the water fountains. Actual size is 32/32x27/32" England, These beautiful sepia photos, nine altogether, are the most wonderful photos taken in 1903 by Frank Richardson. The original album I purchased years ago at an auction. He created the album as a thank you gift for Clara and Ivor Lucas for the wonderful summer he spent with them visiting the areas of Chippenham, Westbury, Bristol and Port Eynon etc. in England. The photos include the Village blacksmith shoeing the Village horse, rows of cottages near Swansea and King Street in Bristol with a tavern on the corner. He was a wonderful photographer. | Art Anatomy, This book contains wonderful sketches from the Anatomy guide of the Human Figure by Charles Carlson illustrated in 1941. It contains eight pages of wonderful detail of skeletons, hands, babies, eyes etc. Very useful for the mini portrait artist. It was my dad's book that he used as reference for his pastel portraits. Actual size is 32/32"x25/32" Japanese Prints Vol I and Vol II, These ten pages of prints are from an old Japanese fold out book containing prints of paintings called Views of Tokyo, by Hiroshige. Volume 1 and Volume II each contain different prints. Actual sizes of the books are 30/32"x24/32". |
