Passing Over

"My husband and I were introduced to Jim through mutual friends many years ago who told us nothing of his gift. It didn't take long to realize that this man was a unique person and indeed gifted. Not long after we had met my husband was diagnosed with cancer at age 42. Within months we were told that Andy would not live through this illness, so asked Jim to work with us to the end.  .Jim spent a great deal of time with my husband both as his friend and as his guide. I "know" that Jims guidance to my husband eased not only his suffering of the physical pain but also that of the emotional pain and trauma through knowing he was leaving this earth and leaving behind his 2 year old daughter and wife.

Totally unable to communicate verbally the last few days of his life Jim spent even more time with him spiritually. The day of Andy's passing Jim was with him for a very long period of time; leaving there he arrived at our home where friends had gathered. A short time after arriving Jim approached our mutual friend and the two of them took me aside. Jim merely looked at me and said..."he's ok now and you will be too". Within a minute or so the phone rang and it was the hospital advising of my dear husbands passing. Jim knew it was time and prepared me as he had with my husband earlier.

This preparation was so very evident to me when I spoke with the Doctor who had attended my husband. Though totally unable to communicate verbally, my husband had found the strength within him moments before his death to ring for the medical staff and was able to clearly communicate with them the words "tell Gail & Whitney I love them and I'm fine now". I "know" that this was possible only because of the strength and guidance of the paths ahead that Jim had opened up to Andy. Their communications were not verbal they were spiritual which sinks deeper into the soul than any other form. Knowing that Jim had eased my husbands suffering in so many ways helped me tremendously but also helped my husband as he left on his next journey.

Time has passed now and I know Jim very well. I have tried to explain to friends who have met Jim that he truly is gifted....

"just because you can't see it, touch it, taste it or hear it, does not mean the gift does not exist. "Once you feel the gift you will know for sure". A truly wonderful human being with sights beyond what most of us can fathom and a person I am truly proud to call not only my friend but in so many ways, my guide."
