Jerry Adolphe

British Columbia Country Music Association 2006 Drummer of the Year Award recipient

 

 

Without question, Jerry Adolphe has the deserved reputation as being as solid a drummer as they come.  In relation to the B.C. country music industry, this past year Jerry has performed live with country artists including Lisa Brokop, Fera, Saving Grace, Karen-Lee Batten, Kenny Hess to name a few.  He is also one of the busiest studio musicians including playing on Aaron Pritchett’s CD Big Wheel as well as with artists including Alita Backus, Roger Gabriel, Art Pruce, Fera, Erik Nielsen, Cornel Dyke, Jordan Doell, Saving Grace, Tracy Chamberlain, Nadine McNeil and Karen-Lee Batten.  Jerry’s skills have made him one of the most sought after drummers by artists, producers and fellow musicians.

March 27, 2007 - Jerry just recorded a new CD for the country band, DIEZEL. Check out their web site for dates and venues.

 

March 27, 2007 - Jerry just did a session for his old friend Nolan Murray and his band Tiller's Folly in Bellingham, Washington. Some of his favorite musicians were involved, such as legendary session musician Larry Knechtel best known for his work with Simon & Garfunkel, the Beach Boys and Bread; Motown's celebrated bass player Bob Babbitt; arranger producer Thom Bell, vocalist John Cowan, guitar virtuoso Robbie Steinger and engineer Chip Westerfield.

 

As well as just completing a CD for JAMES ROGERS BLUES BAND, Jerry did a track for Raffi on "Cool It", the theme song for the David Suzuki Foundation's cross Canada bus tour on global warming.

 

Jerry is looking forward to another busy 2007 season touring with Chilliwack, please check Chilliwack's site for dates and venues.

He continues to host 'Jerry Adolphe and Friends' every Monday night featuring a different artist at The Yale, the home of Vancouver's Rythym and Blues

 

Jerry is now offering online internet sessions. Simply send a mix of your song in the format of your choosing (MP3, WAV, SDII or AIFF) along with the tempo of the song, the resolution you would like the drums recorded at (16 bit, 44.1 khz - 20 bit, 48 khz etc.) and any notes you may have regarding the arrangement.
